Download and Upload .ini Files

Tip: This feature is supported in Live Build DLP version 2.4.367 and higher.

An .ini file is a configuration file that contains user specific support configurations and can be modified through the UI.

Download .ini Files

  1. Load the model to the scene.

  2. Open the Support and Base widget and select the Option icon, then select Download.

    → The system will prompt you to save the current .ini file to your PC’s Download folder.

  3. Choose a location to save the file and press Save.

    → After selecting a folder, the system will copy the .ini file from AppData to your chosen location.

     

Upload .ini Files

  1. Load the model to the scene.

  2. Open the Support and Base widget and select the Option icon, then select Upload New.

    → The Open File window will appear.

  3. Choose the .ini file you want to upload and select Open.

    → The file is uploaded and will be used to generate supports for a selected model.
